Pensioner in hospital after being hit by a car in Illingworth
A pensioner is in hospital after being hit by a car in Illingworth.
The 83 year old woman was hit by a car yesterday morning - at the junction of Keighley Road, Field Head Lane and Pavement Lane.
Her injuries are serious but are not thought to be life-threatening.
An investigation is continuing.
A Police Spokesperson said:
"Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on Keighley Road, Illingworth yesterday (16 September) involving a car and a pedestrian.
"The incident happened at around 8.08am on the junction of Field Head Lane, Pavement Lane and Keighley Road.
"The pedestrian, a woman aged 83, has been taken to hospital with serious but not believed to be life threatening injuries.
"Enquiries remain ongoing."
