79 year old man dies in hospital a month after being hit by car in Leeds

A 79 year old man who was seriously injured in a crash in Leeds last month has now died in hospital.
The collision, involving a Toyota Auris, happened on Bellbrooke Avenue in Harehills at around 9am on August 11.
The 59 year old driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and bailed at the time.
West Yorkshire Police have confirmed the pedestrian passed away under the care of doctors yesterday.
