A new policing initiative has been launched across West Yorkshire to help prevent sexual violence before it happens.

Project Vigilant brings together police, businesses, transport providers and other organisations to spot warning signs, including harassment or someone being followed.

It comes as police figures show women accounted for 80% of sexual assault victims in the area over the past year.
