Leeds have re-signed forward Morgan Gannon on a three-year contract from the start of next season.

The 22-year-old, who left the Rhinos to join the New Zealand Warriors at the end of last season, will return to AMT Headingley after agreeing a deal until the end of 2029.

Gannon made 73 appearances in his first spell with Leeds after breaking into the side as a teenager.

Rhinos head coach Brad Arthur told the club’s website: “Morgan is an outstanding young man who has shown a great deal of maturity already in his young career.

“The fact that he is one of our own, having come through our development pathway and knows our club, makes this a perfect fit for all of us.”

The Warriors announced last week they had agreed to release Gannon from the final two years of his contract because of personal circumstances.
