Leeds man charged after £2m worth of cannabis found at Moortown home
A 32 year old man is facing multiple charges following a major drug seizure
A 32 year old man has been charged after approximately £2m worth of cannabis was seized from a home in Moortown, Leeds.
Police raided an address on Falkland Court alongside Immigration Enforcement and North Yorkshire Police.
During their search, officers found 209 vacuum-sealed bags, each containing one kilogram of dried cannabis.
In addition to the drugs, police seized £30,000 in cash and 10 high-value vehicles.
Renat Sade, of Falkland Court, has been charged with possession of cannabis with intent to supply, possession of criminal property, and possession of a false identity document with intent to establish personal information.
He appeared before magistrates in Leeds earlier today and has been remanded into custody pending his hearing at Leeds Crown Court on April 9.
