Man seriously injured in Dewsbury collision as police appeal for witnesses
Roads policing officers say they were pursuing a red off-road motorbike when it was involved in a crash with a grey Skoda on Owl Lane
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Dewsbury that left a man with serious injuries.
The incident happened on Owl Lane at around 3.30pm on Thursday, 10 September, when officers from West Yorkshire Police’s Roads Policing Unit were pursuing the rider of a red off-road motorbike.
The motorbike, which had reportedly failed to stop for police, was involved in a collision with a grey Skoda.
The rider of the off-road bike was taken to hospital for treatment after suffering serious injuries.
No arrests have been made at this stage, and police enquiries into the circumstances of the collision remain ongoing.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or may have relevant information is being asked to come forward to help police with their investigation.
