Man in wheelchair killed after car mounted pavement in Bradford
A 50 year old was pronounced dead at the scene

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Bradford.
The Major Collision Enquiry Team want to speak to anyone who saw or has footage of a collision involving a car and pedestrians on Market Street during Sunday afternoon.
A blue Nissan Qashqai moved off from traffic lights and mounted the kerb, hitting a 31-year-old-man, who suffered serious head injuries. The Qashqai also collided with a 50-year-old man in a wheelchair who was also in the pedestrianised area.
Emergency services attended the scene to treat both victims, with the 50-year-old sadly passing away at the scene.
A 13-year-old boy, meanwhile, also suffered minor injuries after being injured in the incident.
The driver, a 30-year-old Bradford man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and other traffic offences.
He was interviewed and has now been released on police bail pending continuing enquiries.

“Multiple enquiries remain ongoing into this very serious incident which has sadly resulted in a man losing his life, and another man suffering serious injuries.
“We are investigating the exact circumstances of the collision, including why the Nissan mounted the kerb, and would like to speak to anyone who saw or has footage of what happened or of the Nissan beforehand.
