A man has been jailed for seven years for the stabbing of a man in Bradford.

35 year old Nathan Mouatt, of Bank, was convicted of section 18 assault and criminal damage at Bradford Crown Court.

It follows an attack in Eccleshill on May 24 last year.

He was handed the jail term on February 7.

PC Chris Griffin, of West Yorkshire Police, said:

“The victim was subjected to a sustained and brutal attack carried out by Mouatt, causing significant injuries that have ultimately affected his day-to-day life.

“Whilst some scars will never heal, I hope that this sentence goes someway in getting justice for the victim.”
