Man jailed after driving his car at people outside Bradford casino

A man who deliberately drove his car at people outside a Bradford casino, smashing through bollards, has been jailed for almost four years.
49 year Nadeem Khan, of no fixed address, drove his Nissan Juke onto the pavement outside the site on Bolton Road on May 11.
He admitted to four counts of attempt grievous bodily harm with intent, alongside one count of driving dangerously.
He'll serve three years 11 months behind bars, with a driving ban of almost 5 years once he is released.
Detective Constable Samuel Wilkinson of Bradford CID said:
“Khan’s actions were extremely dangerous and reckless and could have had fatal consequences.
“He used the car as a weapon in retaliation for being banned from the casino.
“The incident has had a massive impact on the lives of the victims who should have never been subjected to this careless and selfish attack.
“We welcome the sentence and driving ban the courts have imposed.”
