Man charged with murder after pensioner dies in Leeds

A man has been charged with murder after a pensioner died in Leeds.

79 year old Colin Starbuck passed away after an incident in Garforth last week.

23 year old Thomas Childe - from Garforth - is due in court today.

A Police statement said: "Detectives investigating an altercation in Garforth in which a man died have charged a man with murder.

"Thomas Childe, 23, of Oak Crescent, Garforth, who defines as White British, has been remanded in custody to appear before Leeds magistrates today (Tuesday).

"The charge relates to an incident in Aberford Road on Wednesday, 29 October, which resulted in the death of Colin Starbuck, 79."
