Man charged with attempted murder in Honley
Police have been investigating an incident at a property two days ago
Detectives investigating a serious assault on a woman at a house in Honley have charged a man with attempted murder.
Emergency services were called to a property in the Roundway area on Thursday 13th August 2025.
They found a 54-year-old woman with serious injuries, who remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Daniel Augustus, who's 40 and from Roundway, has been charged with the attempted murder.
West Yorkshire Police say Mr Augustus, who self-defines as white British, has been remanded in custody and will appear at Leeds Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday 15th August 2026).
