Man arrested on suspicion of murder after Cottingley death
An investigation is getting underway after a woman was found dead in Cottingley.
Police say they were called to Airedale Avenue yesterday morning.
A woman was found with serious injuries and a 45 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said:
"Police were called at 10.46am 11/3/25 to reports of a concern for safety at an address on Airedale Avenue, Cottingley.
"A woman was found with serious injuries. She was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"A man aged 45 has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody at this time.
"A scene is currently in place whilst enquiries are carried out."
