Huddersfield Giants have sacked head coach Luke Robinson in the aftermath of Friday's defeat to Bradford, which sees their winless streak in Super League continue.

Defeat on Friday took them to five losses out of five this season.

Giants remain bottom of the table without a point from their first five matches, with a minus-82 scoring difference.

Huddersfield's director of change Ralph Rimmer told the club's website: "A fantastic man, Luke Robinson - a legend of this club and will remain so, but nevertheless this set of circumstances has brought about this change."
