Gabriel Gudmundsson is an injury doubt for Monday's Premier League game at Everton but Anton Stach is hoping to return to action.

Sweden left-back Gudmundsson missed training on Thursday due to an adductor problem, while midfielder Stach missed last week's home win against Fulham with a similar issue.

Head coach Daniel Farke said: "We have had to leave (Gudmundsson) out of training (on Thursday). He's an important player for us. I hope of course that he is available for the game on Monday night.

"But there is a little question mark behind his availability. Apart from that, everyone came through the (Fulham) game without any problems and the good news is Anton is back for the game on Monday."

Farke said defender Jaka Bijol was ahead of schedule in his recovery from a hamstring injury and could be back in contention in two to three weeks.

Recent signing Facundo Buonanotte, on loan from Brighton until the end of the season, may have to be patient as he waits to make his Leeds debut.

Farke added: "We believe in his character, we believe in his potential. He's a very exciting young player, but a part of the truth is that he has not played much football recently.

"We are convinced of his skills, of his potential, and we will give him the stage. We will give him the platform. We are there for him with open arms. He gets all the backing, all the support to bring himself back into a top fitness level."
