Planned strikes by council transport workers have been suspended after moves to resolve a dispute over issues including cuts.

Members of Unite at Leeds City Council Passenger Transport were due to walk out for 48 hours from Thursday after taking previous industrial action.

They include drivers who take children with learning difficulties to school as well as passenger assistants and office support staff.

Unite said improvements had been agreed during talks with Leeds City Council, including providing risk assessments and training.
