Man arrested after spate of sexual assaults in Leeds

Police have arrested a man in connection with a series of sexual assaults reported in Leeds last month.

The incidents occurred in Gipton and Harehills - on Berkley Road on November 17, Hill Top Mount and Amberton Road on December 8, and Back Hill Top Avenue on December 22.

Officers issued a CCTV appeal after capturing pictures of a suspect at the end of December.

A 29-year-old man from Leeds has now been arrested and is in police custody.
