Leeds full-back Lachlan Miller nominated for Super League Man of Steel award
The winner will succeed last year’s Man of Steel - Leeds half-back Jake Connor
Wigan duo Adam Keighran and Brad O’Neill and Leeds full-back Lachlan Miller have been nominated for this year’s Betfred Super League Man of Steel award.
The winner, who will succeed last year’s winner, Leeds half-back Jake Connor, will be announced at the annual Rugby League awards night in Manchester on September 29.
Keighran and O’Neill have been integral to Wigan’s fightback from a rare trophy-less season in 2025 and have already inspired their side to win the 2026 Challenge Cup and League Leaders’ Shield.
The pair’s bid to lead their club back to Grand Final glory will continue on Saturday evening when Wigan face Wakefield in the second play-off semi-final.
Australian Miller proved pivotal to the Rhinos’ revival before sustaining a career-ending hamstring injury and will be watching from the sidelines when Leeds face Warrington in the first semi-final on Friday.
