James Justin said Leeds’ survival fight is not yet over after Saturday’s 3-0 home against Wolves lifted them further clear of the bottom three.
Leeds, who followed up last week’s win at Manchester United with their ninth league win of the season, play at Bournemouth on Wednesday before Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.
Justin said confidence was sky-high at Elland Road and added: “You never know what will happen.
“(The FA Cup) is an outside chance of getting Europe. To get back in Europe for this club will be massive, but we have to get past Chelsea next weekend before we think about that.
“Obviously with the win (against Wolves), it gives us a nice cushion, but I think we might need another win to keep us safe.”
Justin opened the scoring for Leeds on Saturday with a spectacular overhead kick and Noah Okafor struck their second within two minutes before Dominic Calvert-Lewin converted a stoppage-time penalty.
When asked if he had scored a better one, Justin added: “I’ve actually scored quite a few decent goals, you’d be surprised.
“I’m not even sure it rates in the top three. But no, it was a great goal at a great time and obviously set us up on the right foot.
“It was a really difficult game, especially the expectation coming into it after what we did on Monday. So it was nice to get off to a good start.”
