Man in hospital seriously injured after Ilkley car crash

Police are looking for witnesses after a serious car crash in Ilkley left a man in his 60s in hospital..

Officers were called to Westwood Drive at 11:21am this morning, to reports the man's green Lotus Eletre Sport had veered off the road and crashed into bushes.

The car was heading west from Wells Road when it went off the carriageway.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw what happened, or who captured dashcam footage at the scene, to get in touch on 101.
