A Huddersfield man is due before a court in London charged with a terror offence, after allegedly supporting the Palestinian militant group Hamas.

5\5 year old Junaid Mayet, of Westfield Avenue, is accused of supporting a prescribed organisation.

Hamas had its proscription extended in 2021 over its links to terrorism and human rights abuses.

Mayet was arrested in April 2024 and is due before Westminster Magistrates Court tomorrow (February 12)
