19 year old charged after Huddersfield shooting leaves teenager with leg injury
The 17 year old was seriously injured but is now out of hospital

A 19 year old man has been charged following `the shooting of a teenage boy in Huddersfield last week.
The incident occurred on April 8 on in woodland near football pitches off Spaines Road in Birkby.
It happened as the boy was walking with friends near the 'pavilion' on the Woodlanders FC pitches between 8:30pm and 9:00pm last Wednesday.
Witnesses reported seeing two masked men behind trees in a snicket off Richmond Avenue just before the firearm was discharged.
A 17-year-old suffered a non-life-threatening leg injury and has since been discharged from hospital.
Jordan Bearnard, 19 and of Robin Hood Road, appeared before Leeds Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
He was remanded in custody to next appear before Leeds Crown Court on May 14.
