Five arrests after shots fired at people on Huddersfield street
Shots were fired towards a group of people on Farriers Way earlier this month
Five people have been arrested after a gun was fired on a residential street in Huddersfield earlier this month.
The incident occurred at about 8.05pm on December 1 on Farriers Way, with no injuries being reported.
Police confirmed arrests were made between December 5 and 8, with two individuals handing themselves in and three others detained from addresses in Kirklees and Leeds.
Of the five, four have been bailed pending further enquiries, including two teenage boys, an adult man, and an adult woman.
Another adult woman arrested has been released with no further action.
Since the gunfire was reported, police patrols in the area have been increased.
