Man charged with murder after fatal Hemsworth shooting

A 60-year-old man has been charged with murder after a 26 year old was fatally shot last year in Hemsworth.
Adrian Frost, of Barnsley Road, Wakefield, is accused of killing Connor Batty, who died after a firearm was discharged inside a home on Barnsley Road on September 11 2025.
Frost is due before Leeds Magistrates Court tomorrow (January 29).
Alongside the murder charge, Frost also faces charges of supplying class B drugs and abstracting or using electricity without authority.
He has further been charged with possession of a firearm without a certificate, possession of a weapon designed or adapted for the discharge of gas, possession of an offensive weapon in a private place, and possession of a flick knife or gravity knife.
