Hebden Bridge woman named as victim of fatal Haworth crash
81 year old Sheena McKerrell was hit and fatally injured on Ivy Bank Lane on Sunday afternoon
A woman who died after being hit by a vehicle in Haworth over the weekend has been named as 81 year old Sheena McKerrell from Hebden Bridge.
She was struck at the junction of Ivy Bank Lane and Bridgehouse Lane at around 5:35pm on Sunday (April 6).
A 23 year old man who was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been bailed.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses, or anyone who captured dashcam footage in the area at the time, to get in touch on 101.
