Leeds United confirm signing of Wales forward Harry Wilson on four year deal
He moves to West Yorkshire after being released by Fulham
Leeds have confirmed the signing of Wales forward Harry Wilson on a four-year deal following the expiry of his contract at Fulham.
Wilson had been close to signing for the Yorkshire club on transfer deadline day last summer before the move collapsed at the 11th hour.
Leeds said: “Arriving at Elland Road on a four-year-deal, Wilson becomes our first signing of the summer transfer window, having chosen to join the Whites over several offers from elsewhere.”
The 29-year-old scored 11 goals and had eight assists in 38 appearances in all competitions last season for Fulham, where he spent the last five years following a ÂŁ12million switch from Liverpool in 2021.
Having begun his career at Anfield, Wilson has had loan spells at Derby, Bournemouth and Cardiff among others, while he became the youngest player to make his senior debut for Wales in 2014, going on to make 69 appearances, scoring 17 goals.
