A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson, after a fire and an explosion in Harehills, Leeds.

Police were called at 04:05am yesterday morning (March 30) to Seaforth Road.

All people inside the home got out safely, with one suffering minor injuries.

A suspect in his 20s is being questioned and investigations are ongoing.

The property has been inspected by gas engineers from Leeds City Council and made safe.
