Two arrested after shots fired at homes in Huddersfield street
Police were called on Tuesday to reports windows had been damaged by suspected gunshots
Two people, an 18 year old boy and a 23 year old man, have been arrested after shots were fired in a residential street in Huddersfield earlier this week.
Police were called to Friar Place in the Bradley area at around 8:42pm, after reports windows had been damaged by suspected gunshots.
Nobody was hurt during the incident.
The pair are being questioned on suspicion of possession of a firearm in a public place.
DCI Tom Hilyer of West Yorkshire Police, who is leading the investigation, said: “Firearms offences are treated extremely seriously, and I can reassure residents a full investigation is taking place to determine the circumstances of what occurred.
“We have made arrests and are appealing for information and footage regarding any suspicious activity on Friar Place just prior to the incident yesterday evening.
