Huddersfield have confirmed their home Betfred Super League match against Toulouse will be moved to Dewsbury because of re-seeding work on the pitch at the Accu Stadium.

The Giants ground-share with Huddersfield Town and the playing surface is set to undergo maintenance following the end of the football season, meaning the rugby league fixture on June 6 needed to be relocated.

A club statement read: “We will now be playing this fixture at the Flair Stadium, home of the Dewsbury Rams. The Flair Stadium has a capacity of around 5,000 is expected to sell out.”

The Giants sit bottom of the Super League table, with eight defeats from 10 matches.
