Four due in court over historic sexual offences in Kirklees
The charges follow the alleged abuse of three teenage girls
Four men are set to appear in court, charged with serious sexual offences against teenage girls in Kirklees between 1998 and 2000.
The charges centre on the alleged abuse of three girls, who were aged between 14 and 15 at the time.
Those charged are:
- Johnathan Harrison, 46, from Cleckheaton, charged with five counts of rape, indecent assault, and child abduction.
- Mohammed Jahanghir Afsar, 54, from Heckmondwike, charged with four counts of rape.
- Usman Nazir, 44, from Stoke On Trent, charged with two counts of rape.
- Naseem Risalat, 47, from Heckmondwike, charged with two counts of rape and aiding and abetting rape.
All four are scheduled to appear before Kirklees Magistrates’ Court on September 23.
