A driver has been arrested after a serious crash in Bradford over the weekend, which left two seriously injured.

The incident happened on Saturday morning around 9am, with a black Toyota Yaris hitting a stationary white BMW X5 at the junction of Great Horton Road with All Saints Road.

A passenger in the Yaris, a 30-year-old man, was airlifted to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Yaris, a 33-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

He received medical attention for serious injuries that are not considered life-threatening and has since been released on bail.

Witnesses are being urged to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101.
