Two charged with attempted murder after stabbing at Dewsbury betting shop

It's after a man in his 50s was left seriously injured on Good Friday

A man and a woman have been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing at a betting shop in Dewsbury.

38 year old Nicholas Wood and Jasmine Briggs, 23, both of no fixed address, were before Leeds Magistrates' Court today.

It comes after an incident at on Good Friday (April 3) where a man in his 50s was attacked with a knife and seriously injured.

Both have been remanded into custody ahead of a appearance at Leeds Crown Court on June 18.
