Wakefield Trinity head coach Daryl Powell fined for criticising match officials
He'll have to pay £2,000
Wakefield Trinity Head Coach Daryl Powell has been handed a £2,000 by the RFL for comments he made about match officials.
It comes after he questioned whether Hull FC's John Cartwright had influenced the refereeing of their 16 - 10 defeat earlier this month.
Rugby league's governing body had warned clubs in May about Head Coaches making comments about match officials.
Powell says he accepts the charge and will not launch an appeal.
