Leeds Rhinos have named Caitlin Beevers as women's club captain ahead of the 2025 Super League season.

The 23 year old is stepping up into the role after co-captaining for the past two seasons.

She's taking over from Hanna Butcher who retired at the end of last season.

Beevers is a product of the Rhinos academy and made her debut aged 16 against Bradford Bulls.

Since then she's shared in the club's success in winning two Grand Finals and Challenge Cups.

Speaking to the Leeds Rhinos website after her selection, Beevers said: “From a young age, my ambition has always been to play for the Rhinos, even before the Super League was created."

"Rugby has been my life since I started playing at six years old. After dedicating 8 years to the club, I've always been committed to giving my all for the badge.

"Being appointed vice-captain at 21 was a huge moment for me, but now, to be named club captain—especially after being out for a fair bit of this season—is a massive honour.

"I would like to give enormous thanks to the staff and the girls; this season looks like it's going to be a good one.”

Leeds Rhinos Women get their season underway on May 17, on the road to St Helens.
