Bradford man who sexually assaulted women as they slept jailed
The 26 year old will serve seven years
A Bradford man who sexually assaulted two women as they slept has been handed a seven year prison term.
26 year old Callum Difiori, of Institute Road, was convicted of three counts of rape and one of assault by penetration at Bradford Crown Court in September.
All of the offences were committed against two victims between the years of 2018 and 2021..
He was sentenced on Friday (February 7) and was also placed on the sex offenders register.
Difiori has been banned from contacting either of the victims for 10 years.
Detective Constable Louise Clayton, of West Yorkshire Police, said: “I want to praise the victims for their immense bravery in coming forward to report the abuse they suffered.
“They have shown courage and strength throughout the criminal justice process and I hope they can now start to move forward with their lives knowing that Difiori is behind bars.
“I also want to urge anyone who has suffered any sexual offence, whether recent or not, to report it to the police.
“We will listen to you and we are committed to bringing offenders to justice so we can help create an environment where women and girls can feel safe.
“We have specially-trained officers who will help and support you throughout the process as we continue to pursue perpetrators of these crimes.”
