15 questioned and bailed in Bradford organised crime investigation
It comes after stolen vehicles were recovered during a raid at the Holme Lane Business Park
15 people have been arrested and released on bail, as part of an investigation into organised crime in Bradford.
The 14 men and 1 woman were detained following raids at the Holme Lane Business Park last month, which saw the recovery of 30 stolen vehicles alongside stolen machinery and Class A drugs.
They've been questioned on suspicion of offences including handing stolen goods, possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply and participation in the criminal activities of an organised crime group
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Atkinson of West Yorkshire Police said:
“These further arrests show the scale of this operation into organised criminality across Bradford district.
“We are taking positive action after concerns were raised from the community. This action shows that we are taking this offending seriously, all to make our communities feel safe.
“I would still appeal to the local community to come forward and provide information on criminal activity to us. Thanks to intelligence from them, we have seized cash, drugs and stolen goods.
“This information continues to play a vital role in the success of this work and we would urge anyone who knows anything that could assist us to get in touch via 101 or online at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/report-it or anonymously if needed via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
