Prominent Bradford city centre office buidling to reopen as "flagship space"

A PROMINENT city centre office building will re-open next month as a “flagship space” for a local business.
One Godwin Street was, until recently, the home of Vanquis/Provident until the financial company re-located to a smaller, neighbouring unit.
Earlier this year it was announced that International Workplace Group has taken on space in the building, and would be opening flexible office space there under its Regus brand.
But that project has since fallen through, and the space will now be taken on by flexible workplace provider Wizu Workspace – which has origins in Bradford.
The company said the move will bring “the first premium flexible workspace offer to the heart of Bradford city centre.”
It could also see food and drink operators move into the building.
Due to open in September, One Godwin Street will provide 120,000 sq ft of office space. The agreement with Landlord, Nice Leisure includes Wizu delivering flexible workspace as well as the full building management and compliance services.
For Wizu’s founders, the launch is especially meaningful. Both were born and raised in Bradford.

The new workspace will provide private offices for teams of between two and 100 people, flexible coworking memberships, high-spec meeting rooms with video conferencing, health and fitness facilities and virtual offices.
It will also host community events, networking and wellbeing initiatives.
