A LARGE mill building in Bradford city centre has gone on the market with a £650,000 price tag.

154-158 Sunbridge Road has most recently been used as a place of worship – but the four-storey building is currently vacant.

It has now been listed for sale by Skipton based estate agents Mark Brearley & Co, who say the sale is “on the instructions of Bradford Grand Mosque.”

The building has over 1,800 square metres of space over its four stories, and a small car park to the site.

The listing says: “The property comprises a substantial four storey former mill/office building, last used as a place of worship, with small basement area, and occupying a prominent location on Sunbridge Road.”

The building is just a few metres from an area of Bradford that is soon to undergo a huge amount of regeneration.

A section City Village development will be built on car park areas between this Sunbridge Road building and Westgate.

33 townhouses will be built on the Chain Street site, with Bradford-based affordable housing provider, Incommunities expected to be the developer behind the scheme.
