Bradford City swoop for Newcastle United talent in double loan signing
Midfielder Joe White joins the Bantams, alongside defender Harrison Ashby
Bradford City have announced a double loan signing, with the Bantams turning to Premier League Newcastle for help challenging for League One promotion.
First through the door is highly rated young attacking midfielder Joe White, who joins for the rest of the season.
He made his senior debut for the Magpies in 2024.
Speaking to the City website, White said: “It is a great feeling, I am so happy to be here. It is such an amazing and massive club. Hopefully, I can bring my game to this team, which is doing very well at the moment.
“I spoke to Graham Alexander in the summer, and since then I have watched some of the games whilst I have been on loan in the first part of the season. I feel like I can really excel.”
Also joining is right back Harrison Ashby, who has previously spent time on loan at QPR and Swansea City.
The West Ham academy product said: “I am just delighted to finally get it done. I am here now to play football and help the team.
“After a call with the manager, you get a feeling about whether it is the right move for you. Straight after the call, I said to my agent, ‘that is where I want to be’, this is the perfect place for me.”
