A 10 year old girl killed after being hit by a car in Bradford on Sunday has been named as Humaira Bibi.

She was fatally injured after being struck by a silver Toyota Yaris at 6.32pm on Ransdale Road, near to the junction of Ramsey Street.

A 16 year old suffered serious injuries during the same incident.

The driver of the Toyota, a 35 year old man, has been questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He has since been released on bail.

Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who captured CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch on 101.
