Six charged over county lines drug dealing in Bradford and Halifax

Six people have been charged with drugs offences, after a series of raids targeting county lines dealing in Calderdale and Bradford earlier this week.

Searches were carried out on Thursday (February 12) across six locations: four in Halifax and one each in Queens Court, Queensbury, and Staybrite Avenue, Bingley, Bradford.

The five men and one woman have appeared before Bradford Magistrates' Court today.

Those charged are:

Abu Bakar Chaudrey, 25, of Mayfield Terrace South, Halifax, charged with involvement in the supply of cocaine

Balaval Ali, 26, of Mayfield Terrace, Halifax, charged with involvement in the supply of cocaine

Samran Ali, 28, of Eldroth Road, Halifax, charged with involvement in the supply of cocaine and acquiring, using, or possessing criminal property.

Arbaaz Ali, 27, of Queens Court, Queensbury, Bradford, charged with involvement in the supply of cocaine

Atif Hussain, 24, of Gibbet Street, Halifax, charged with involvement in the supply of cocaine

Kiran Akhtar, 25, of Staybrite Avenue, Bingley, charged with acquiring, using, or possessing criminal property
