An investigation is underway after a fatal collision in Ripponden

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road collision in Ripponden last night in which a man died.

The collision happened at the junction of the A58 Rochdale Road and White Hart Fold shortly after 9:30pm when a VW T-Roc travelling in the direction of Sowerby Bridge collided with a parked Mini Cooper.

The male driver of the VW died at the scene. He is believed to have suffered a medical episode.
