Huddersfield Town forward Alfie May has re-joined Doncaster Rovers on a season long loan deal.
The fan favourite made 110 appearances for Donny between 2017 and 2020 before moving to Cheltenham and later Birmingham City.
He signed for Huddersfield ahead of the 2025-26 season, May has made 40 appearances in all competitions for the Terriers.
Speaking on his return to South Yorkshire, Alfie said: "Coming back feels like home, it's a club that means a lot to me."
"They took me out of non-league and put me on a pathway and I never looked back."
"We want to create history.
"If I can come here, score goals and hit the ground running, I'll be absolutely over the moon."
Doncaster boss Grant McCann said: "It's a really good signing for us, someone who knows League One really well.
"His goals over the last five years have been absolutely outstanding."
"Alfie adds a little bit of quality at the top end of the pitch that we needed."
