People urged to ring 111 or see pharmacy over A&E in West Yorkshire unless it's life threatening or an emergency
People across West Yorkshire who need to see nurse or doctor are being urged to speak to a pharmacy or ring 111, unless it's an emergency or it's life threatening

Over the festive period, West Yorkshire Care Integrated Board (WYCIB) have issued advice, if people need to seek medical help.
Already during the winter period, hospital's across West Yorkshire have revealed they are under extreme pressure.
The advice includes, If it's not an emergency, to call NHS 111 or use this link to be directed to the best place for the care you need.
The NHS 111 team can also make an appointment to attend urgent treatment centres and minor injuries units in West Yorkshire.
Dr James Thomas is the Medical Director at the WYCIB said: "If it's an emergency and you need urgent care for life threating care and injuries, absolutely you should call 999 and go to A&E. But actually, if you don't think it's that urgent then actually ring 111 because they'll often help direct you to the most appropriate service."
