Police appeal after 75 year old pedestrian injured in Halifax crash

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after the crash last month

Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a collision near Halifax that left a 75-year-old pedestrian with serious injuries.

It happened Burnley Road in the Cote Hill area of Warley, close to the Peacock Inn pub, at 7:55pm on March 11.

A green Vauxhall Viva car collided with the elderly man, resulting in serious leg and hip injuries that needed hospital treatment.

The driver of the Vauxhall remained at the scene and has been helping officers.

Officers are eager to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or possesses video footage of the event or the circumstances leading up to it.

Anyone with information is being urged to get in touch on 101.
