13 people arrested in Bradford investigation into historic child sex offences
12 men and one woman have been questioned and released on bail.
Police have made 13 arrests in connection with an investigation into historic child sex offences in Bradford.
12 men aged between 42 and 59 have been questioned, along with a women in her 16. All have been released on bail after being detained at addresses across the district between March and April 2025.
It's in connection with reports made by one woman of alleged abuse between the years of 2000 and 2005, when she was between 13 and 17 years old.
Detective Chief Inspector Vicky Greenbank, of West Yorkshire Police, said:
“These arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into non-recent sexual offences against a child in the Bradford area.
“We are focussed on victims and survivors who have bravely come forward to speak to us, trusting us to pursue those responsible and bring them to justice.
“We hope that investigations like this show we take all reports of sexual abuse seriously and you will be supported by officers with experience of dealing with these kind of offences.”
