£14 million is currently being put towards nature recovery in the UK- which focuses on the likes of new habitat creation
A local MP is urging the Government to put more funding aside from nature restoration projects here and beyond

""These things can be reversed, but we have got to have the dedicated focus to do so"
Adrian represents Waveney Valley in Parliament.
He says it's not just more money that's needed, though:
"It's also about how we are regulating some of the big polluters, such as the mega chicken factories that we are seeing grow in our region.
"There needs to be more regulation of those so we don't continue to see huge impacts on river pollution and other pollutants coming from that, as well.
"We're seeing the sixth mass extinction of specifics at the moment, that's largely being done by human behaviour.
"These things can be reversed, but we have got to have the dedicated focus to do so. That can build on the great work that's being done by charities and community groups in my constituency".
What's the Government said on this?
The Environment Department says it putting £14 million into nature restoration and aims to bring In private sector investment worth over a billion pounds by 2030.
