King's Lynn primary school closed due to water supply issues

A number of homes and businesses are experiencing low pressure or no water

A primary school in King's Lynn has been forced to close today (16 March) as they have no running water.

Norfolk County Council say Whitefriars Church of England Primary Academy is experiencing supply issues because of a 'serious leak in the local area'.

The school is unable to operate safely, as essential facilities such as toilets and kitchen services cannot be used

Anglian Water have apologised for the disruption and say they are working to find the cause of the issue. No estimated restoration time has been issued.

The roads impacted, according to the water supplier's website, include: Wisbech Road, Tennyson Road, Hardwick Road, London Road and Nar Ouse Way,
