A local charity is urging families across the county to avoid making the Easter weekend all about food.
Beat, based in Norwich, estimate that well over a million people are suffering from an eating disorder in the UK
The latest figures also show that more young people are being diagnosed with these conditions. A quarter of all those affected are men
"Be open and honest"
Kerri Fleming is a mental health nurse with Beat:
"We often hear from a lot of families who are not sure how to approach conversations around this, a shared sit-down meal or whether to purchase easter eggs or not.
"I think it's really important to be open and honest and have transparent conversations, even if it's a case of just saying 'do you want to talk about this or what can we do to help right now'"
