Man arrested after stabbing at King’s Lynn Bus Station
Police seeking more witnesses as investigations continue
A man has been arrested in King’s Lynn on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm following a stabbing at the bus station.
Officers received multiple calls from the public reporting a fight involving up to eight people at Vancouver Court near the station at 6.15pm on 22nd August.
Police arrived within minutes, recovering a knife from the scene and deploying additional units, including armed officers.
Later, a suspect was detained at an address on Losinga Road at 7.32pm. He was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife.
The victim, in his 30s, suffered a stab wound to his stomach and is being treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where his condition is stable and not considered life-threatening.
Superintendent Craig Miller said: “This incident happened in a busy area in King’s Lynn and we have already spoken to a number of people who witnessed the disturbance.
“I would ask anyone with information who hasn’t spoken to the police to contact us on 101"
