Fourth person charged after violent disorder in Bowthorpe
It happened in May
A fourth person has appeared in court, after an incident in Bowthorpe last month.
Police were called to Ambrose Close on Wednesday 20 May following reports of a fight, between a group of young men and teenagers carrying weapons.
Today (12 June 2026) 25-year-old Tyler Murphy, of Pitchford Road, Norwich appeared before Norwich Magistrates' Court charged with violent disorder. He was remanded by the court until an appearance at Norwich Crown Court on 19 June.
Three other people had previously been charged in connection with the disorder.
Logan Hindley, 20, of St. Mildreds Road, Norwich was charged with GBH with intent, possession of a bladed article in a public place and violent disorder. He's due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 19 June.
A 16 year-old boy was charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place, violent disorder and possession of a class B drug. His next court appearance is on 16 June.

A fifth person, a man in his 20s who was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of a weapon in a public place, remains on police bail until 20 August 2026.
